What do I need for a remote coding session?
You need a Windows laptop, an ENET cable (Ethernet to OBD-II), stable internet connection, and TeamViewer installed. Your car battery should be above 80% or connected to a charger.
Is BMW coding safe?

Will coding void my BMW warranty?

What is NCD 2.0 and why does BimmerCode not work on newer BMWs?
NCD 2.0 is BMW’s new security protocol introduced with I-Level 23-03 (late 2023). It prevents consumer coding tools like BimmerCode from writing to protected modules. What is a CS DME flash?
A CS DME flash loads the factory BMW M3 CS or M4 CS engine calibration onto your standard M3 or M4. This is OEM BMW software — not an aftermarket tune. It increases power to 530 HP / 650 Nm on the G80 M3 and G82 M4, and removes the speed limiter to 300 km/h. Price: $299 at M-TRI UPGRADE.
What is anti-dazzle headlight coding?
Anti-dazzle (also called glare-free high beam) activates BMW’s intelligent high beam system. The high beams stay on permanently while the camera detects oncoming vehicles and creates shadow zones around them. The rest of the road remains fully illuminated. What is the difference between a coding service and a plug-and-play module?
Coding modifies the car’s software parameters via remote session. A plug-and-play module is a physical device that plugs into the OBD port or a specific connector. Modules are immune to dealer software updates (hardware cannot be overwritten by software). Coding is cheaper but may need recoding after dealer updates (unless NCD 2.0 secure coding is used).
