Yes. This is a complete replacement NBT EVO Harman head unit that goes into F-Series BMWs (F30, F10, F11, F15, F25, etc.) replacing CIC or basic NBT. It brings wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, full split-screen iDrive, and modern interface.
Is this OEM BMW hardware or aftermarket?
Genuine BMW NBT EVO Harman unit (not aftermarket Android tablet). Same hardware that came in higher-spec F-Series and early G-Series models, with software flashed to support wireless CarPlay/AA.
Will my steering wheel buttons, voice control and CIC menus all work?
Yes. The NBT EVO uses the same iDrive controller protocol, so steering wheel buttons, voice control, iDrive knob, and full CAN bus integration all work natively. We code the unit to your VIN before shipping.
Do I need to change my screen too?
Depends on your existing screen size. Most F-Series upgrades retain the original screen if it’s the 8.8″ or 10.25″. If you have a 6.5″ screen, we recommend pairing this with our 10.25″ upgrade kit (sold separately) for best appearance.
How much install work is involved?
Mid-difficulty DIY (2-3 hours) or any independent BMW workshop can do it. Comes with VIN-coded firmware so it’s plug-in ready — no programming required at install.
