Quick Answer
The OEM BMW M3 instrument cluster retrofit replaces the standard cluster in a G20 3 Series or G22 4 Series with the full M3 performance unit, adding M lap timer, traction slip indicator, M Drive display, and M-branded gauge faces. The retrofit includes ENET VIN coding to pair the new cluster with the BDC. No permanent harness modification — fully reversible.

Sound familiar?
- You bought your F30 or F32 used and it came with the base cluster — no M badge, a 260 km/h speedo that feels out of place in a sport sedan.
- Your dealer quoted you well over $2,000 to source and code an M3 cluster. You know the part exists, you just can't justify that price.
- You've seen the 330 km/h speedometer and 8000 RPM tacho in other F30s and can't un-see how good it looks.
- You're doing an M3 or M4 interior conversion and the stock cluster is the one thing breaking the illusion.
- You ordered a cluster online before and it arrived uncoded — useless without a BMW ISTA setup and a dealer visit that cost more than the part.
- You want it done right: genuine BMW, not a replica face swap or a cluster pulled from a write-off with no history.

Frequently Asked Questions
My F30 has the basic black-and-white cluster. Can I upgrade to the M-style digital one?
Yes — this is the genuine BMW M3 / M4 (F80/F82) instrument cluster, fully compatible with F30 320i/328i/335i and F32 428i/435i. It brings the digital tachometer, M Sport graphics, configurable displays, and full-color readouts to your standard F-chassis.
Is this real OEM or aftermarket replica?
Genuine BMW OEM cluster — same exact part fitted to F80 M3 / F82 M4 from factory. Pulled from low-mileage donor cars, fully tested, with warranty.
Will all my factory functions still work — speedo, fuel gauge, tach?
Yes. Cluster reads CAN bus normally — speedometer, fuel level, coolant temp, range/MPG, all displayed correctly via standard signals. Just with the upgraded M-style graphics.
Does it require coding to work?
Yes — VIN coding to your specific car so it reads your engine type and transmission correctly. We include remote coding service in the price — ship the unit, we code remotely once you've installed.
Will this trigger 'incorrect part' fault codes?
Not after coding. Pre-coding it will throw a few warnings on first install (5-10 minutes). After remote VIN coding, all warnings clear and cluster integrates seamlessly.

How does remote coding work?
After purchase we schedule a remote session. Connect an ENET cable to your BMW's OBD2 port, open TeamViewer, and we handle the rest — coding is complete in 15–60 minutes.
Is the coding reversible?
Yes — 100% reversible. We back up your original settings before any changes. You can restore to factory at any time.
Which BMW models are supported?
Most services support F-Series and G-Series BMWs. Exact compatibility is listed in each product. Contact us if unsure about your model.
What do I need?
You need: (1) an ENET OBD2-to-Ethernet cable, (2) a Windows laptop, (3) TeamViewer (free). We supply all coding software and guide you step-by-step.
How long does a session take?
Single features take 15–30 minutes. Full packages take up to 2 hours. Sessions run 7 days a week across NZ, AU, USA and Middle East time zones.
